Bridging AI and cross-border investigations and compliance legal expertise

Washington, DC

About

Trained in both US and Chinese law, I have spent a over a decade bridging two legal systems, two cultures, and two regulatory worlds, advising multinational companies on their most complex cross-border challenges: corruption issues, money laundering exposure, sanctions risk, and export controls, with a focus on China and the broader APAC region. Now I am bringing AI into that space - rethinking, refining, and redesigning how cross-border investigations and compliance work gets done. My coding journey has been relatively short but intentional and consistent - vibe coding has fully activated my inner nerd that led me onto a journey of structured learning and building functional tools from scratch with no prior programming background. In this process, I've designed and deployed AI agents for work and personal life, written and iterated on Python & JavaScript-based scripts, built web-based interfaces for legal tools in my space, and architected multi-step workflow automations.

Mamba Triage (Investigation & Compliance Intake Tool)

Web AppOpen Access

Meet Mamba Triage — a demo tool I built that automates the intake of investigation reports and compliance concerns and provides a substantive triage. Paste in or upload any allegation report and it produces in seconds: — A ranking of risk posted by the allegations with justifications (High, Medium, Low) — A structured summary of issues identified by categories — All individuals and third parties involved and their alleged roles — Which legal team(s) should lead the investigation and which other functions could provide support — Which US and non-US regulatory frameworks may apply (for reference only) — What critical information is still missing (both for initial scoping and for later investigations) — Proposed immediate next steps
