About

I'm an Associate General Counsel at a venture studio incubating AI-native startups — building legal infrastructure from day zero for companies that don't yet exist. Two months ago I'd never written code. Last month I shipped Privilege Sentinel: a local-only privilege risk checker for legal AI prompts. It won a hackathon and now lives in Anthropic's legal skills ecosystem via Lawve AI. Open source. Built nights and weekends. I'm not interested in making the old in-house playbook 10% faster. I'm rebuilding it from first principles — a multi-agent AI-native legal team where intake, triage, contract review, and risk assessment run as orchestrated agents, with the GC sitting on top of the system, not inside it. Where I'm headed: the legal stack an AI-native company actually deserves. Building in public, shipping in weeks, not quarters.

Privilege Sentinel

SkillOpen SourceSource

Pre-flight privilege and work-product check for legal AI prompts. Use when the user is about to send legal content to a third-party AI surface and wants to know whether the prompt risks blowing attorney-client privilege or work-product protection. Returns a SAFE/CAUTION/STOP band with cited factors, a discovery-impact line, and a redacted-safe rewrite.

Most companies still gate contracts on dollar thresholds. This replaces that with a model that prices the risk factors that actually matter — financial exposure, counterparty, regulatory complexity, strategic fit, operational load. Returns a defensible number plus mitigations balanced enough that the counterparty will take them. Legal scales; sales and procurement self-serve.

Philosophy

"Terraform the space"

The law is always a lagging indicator. The most valuable legal work happens at the frontier — where doctrine hasn't caught up to reality and someone has to reason from first principles. AI is the biggest frontier the profession has seen in a generation. I'd rather build the infrastructure than wait for the playbook.
