LegalQuants Plugins: Privacy Notice

1. Summary

The plugins are open-source skill files and local helper scripts. They run inside your own AI workspace. LegalQuants does not receive your documents, prompts, outputs or matter data. The plugins contain no analytics and no telemetry.

2. Transactional and Litigators Plugins

These plugins collect no personal data and send nothing to LegalQuants. One skill (Regulatory) can download a public source, such as a statute page, from a web address you choose. That request goes from your machine to that website. LegalQuants is not involved.

3. The Companion Plugin

• Public pages: The Companion can read public pages on legalquants.com (the builds directory and the member directory) and public GitHub files. These are ordinary web requests. Our web host logs the IP address and the time, as it does for any visitor.
• The LegalQuants connector: If you choose to connect it, the search queries you send through it reach our servers so that we can answer them.
• Local files: The Companion saves your profile and drafts as local files on your machine. It does not submit or publish anything for you.

4. LegalQuants Services

If you follow a link from a plugin to a LegalQuants service (for example the application form, LQ Assess or the Residency), the LegalQuants Privacy Policy and Terms of Use apply to what you do there. They do not apply to your use of the plugins.

5. Your AI Provider

Your prompts and documents are processed by the AI platform you run the plugins in. That processing is governed by your agreement with that provider. LegalQuants is not a party to it.

6. Recipients, Retention and Your Controls

• Transactional and Litigators: There is no data, so there are no recipients and nothing is retained.
• Companion web requests: Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) under its normal retention.
• Your controls: You can remove a plugin at any time. You can delete the local Companion folder (~/.lq) at any time.
